First Progress Report

At least once per week, if not more, I’ll report on the progress I’ve made in my journey to a life less confined.

I don’t know how exciting it’ll be in the beginning, but it will be interesting to look back on it down the road.

For today’s report:

  • Now offering Virtual Assistant services (see page on this website)
  • Offering hourly and via membership options for booking/payment
  • Set up new Stripe account and updated direct deposit settings to accept payments
  • Created Instagram and Facebook posts to promote VA services
  • Got almost caught up on my homework for my Graphic Design course. I’m about once chapter away which I will do tomorrow.
  • Did a load of laundry
  • My adult daughter’s been too busy to clean her room lately. Since the landlord was coming over today to work on the panel in her bedroom, I did some cleaning for her. A good workout for me and an appreciated kind gesture for her. Win-win!
  • Took garbage out to bin in alley.

One crucial piece of progress is that I FINALLY figured out what I want my purpose to be in life. My nickname is Bridge. Turns out it’s also my mission in life…to be a bridge for people and help them get through whatever changes/transition they’re going through. Whether that be work related or a personal metamorphosis.

I had the day off today, and for a change, I didn’t waste it scrolling through social media. I got stuff accomplished!

I have tomorrow and the next day off as well. Once I’m caught up on schoolwork and do a little housework, I can scroll the rest of the day away. Rest is important too.

That’s about it for today! Not too shabby.
