With a career spanning 30 years, and even more life experience, I know a little about A LOT and continue to learn more along the way. That, coupled with my neurodivergent brain, means I am usually quite handy to have around.

I’ve been called a human Swiss Army Knife and saved one of the organizations I was working for $100,000+ in one year because I could do a lot of the work myself instead of paying the higher costs for outsourcing.

I specialize in planning, organizing, and streamlining to make things run more efficiently, and I’m fairly tech-savvy as well. Just because “that’s the way it’s always been done,” doesn’t mean it has to continue that way. I’m also tenacious when it comes to solving problems. I don’t settle for bandaids. I keep searching and figuring stuff out till a real solution is found.

I prefer projects or tasks that have a beginning and an end, instead of ongoing daily tasks. I can also train other staff so they can take over tasks/projects, etc.

I tend to stay away from things such as making calls, bookkeeping/accounting, and tasks that require me to work in an office. It doesn’t mean I’ll never do those things; they’ll just remain exceptions.

My work hours aren’t fixed because they get woven around and through the rest of my life and other responsibilities. Work-life balance is a priority, so my availability will fluctuate. The bonus is that it means I don’t just work within regular office hours. I can accommodate night owls.

I’m looking to be of service to individuals and organizations who aren’t in it just for the money. They have a mission that extends beyond selling things to sell things and are passionate about doing something that benefits the planet and/or the living creatures on it. I want to be proud and excited about the work that I’m doing.

So, how may I help you? Let this petite but mighty Bridge carry you up and over.

Testimonial

“During our years working together, Brigitte displayed skills in the areas of office organization, web design, and record keeping. She also displayed an innate ability to see a job through from start to finish and to ensure that it met a high standard.  She often looked for new ways to accomplish a task and brought forward ideas, especially in the area of web design.  She was pleasant to work with, had a good sense of humour, was open to new ideas, and was able to work collaboratively with us.  She was also willing to adjust her approach, when necessary, to meet deadlines and/or in order to create a more streamlined approach to a task. ~ Charlene S.
